Greetings;

June20th turned out to be a wonderful time as the church came together to honor our military, veteran's, law enforcement and fire fighter's. The concert with Linda Lanier was very moving.

Charles Faddisa local man from Eagle having served in World War II under General Patton was honored with the United States Flag presented by the Gem State Young Marines Color Guard. Not a dry eye was found as he kept uttering, 'I don't deserve this. "I leaned over to Charles and said, "Charles, please accept this on behalf of your fallen comrade's. "Charles accepted the flag that evening and a renewed sense of patriotism came into all of our lives. Another touching time was the privilege of shaking hands with all of the Veteran's and Military currently serving. We all had a chance to let them know just how much we do appreciate their service to thiscountry. Again, thank you forserving us. I want to thank everyone again for all your help in making this event possible. Everything ran like clock work. Although we planned on more people attending it was still agreat turn out.
